Product Overview​

The FLY SHT36 V2 is a toolhead board designed by Guangzhou Meilun Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. for 3D printer extruders. Using this board, four wires can replace the complex wiring between the mainboard and the printhead, optimizing the layout. The SHT36 V2 is suitable for 36 stepper motors and integrates a CAN transceiver, USB port, TMC2209 driver, ADXL345 accelerometer, two controllable fans, and other functions. This toolhead board is compatible with the Klipper firmware.

New Features​

  • Added support for switching between a 4.7K resistor (for NTC thermistors) or a 1.1K resistor (for PT1000).
  • The CAN interface no longer uses MX3.0 terminals; the new connector supports 15A current with a peak of 30A.
  • Added optional 5/12/24V fan voltage.
  • Added an onboard NTC100k resistor for chamber temperature measurement.
  • Added reverse polarity protection for the power supply.
  • Connected the ADXL345 INT1 to the MCU for leveling purposes for specific users.
  • Enlarged the heater cartridge port with a rated current of 10A.
  • Added high-voltage input limit protection.
  • Replaced the main controller with a domestic MCU.
  • Supports magnetic encoders (AS5047D) for motion analysis in Klipper (currently not supported by Klipper).
  • Added a 1-meter CAN cable to avoid signal loss issues caused by incorrect terminal crimping.
  • Mounting dimensions: Hole spacing 43.84mm, M3 mounting holes.
  • Processor: GD32F103 (for purchases before October 28, 2022), APM32F072 (for purchases after October 28, 2022).
