Important Notes

• It is recommended to use the bookworm version for the Raspberry Pi system.

• Raspberry Pi 4B/3B using DSI interface
• Raspberry Pi 5B using Mipi interface

DSI Usage Method

• After the image is burned, enter the /boot/config.txt file and add the following command:

dtoverlay=vc4-kms-dsi-7inch

Important Information

• The DSI and CSI interfaces on Raspberry Pi 5 are now renamed to MIPI.
• The MIPI interface can be configured to directly use CSI cameras or DSI screens.
• Please pay attention to the orientation of the gold fingers.

• Raspberry Pi 5 now has two MIPI interfaces, marked as 1 and 0 when viewed from the front.

• DSI screen wiring

  • If using interface 1, configure the screen as follows:

  dtoverlay=vc4-kms-dsi-7inch,dsi1

  • If using interface 0, configure the screen as follows:

  dtoverlay=vc4-kms-dsi-7inch,dsi0
