FLY-Pi V3 Usage Precautions

Must Read Before Operation

Always disconnect the power before performing any wiring operations! When flashing firmware, please also operate according to the guide requirements.

1. Power Requirements

  • Power via Type-C (Recommended for first boot): Use a power adapter of 5V/2A or higher. Some computer USB ports may not provide sufficient power, which could cause the system's first automatic expansion to fail.
  • Power via DC power terminal: Supports DC 12V-24V input, suitable for daily work scenarios.
  • For detailed power supply instructions, please refer to Host Power Supply.

2. Storage Configuration

Important

FLY-Pi V3 does not come with any storage device pre-installed. You must configure at least one of the following storage media:

  • Option 1 (Recommended): Purchase the FLY customized M2WE module.
  • Option 2: Prepare your own Micro SD (TF) card, with a capacity between 16GB and 128GB.

3. Important Warnings

Interface Conflict Warning

It is strictly forbidden to use the TFT screen and the SPI accelerometer interface simultaneously!

The TFT screen interface (FPC-TFT), the SPI accelerometer interface (ZH1.5-7P), and the RRF expansion interface share the same set of SPI resources on the hardware. Connecting them simultaneously will cause device malfunction.

M2WE Interface Warning

The onboard M2WE expansion interface uses a FLY proprietary protocol. It is absolutely forbidden to connect any standard or unofficial M.2 devices, as this will cause permanent hardware damage to the mainboard.
