• Replaces Z-axis limit switch
• No need to raise or lower the Z-axis during scanning, improving printing speed
• XY movement scanning allows for dense mesh bed probing

Connections

• Power: 5V
• Firmware: Klipper/Marlin
• Connection: Mainboard (BDsensor will use the exp1 interface of the mainboard)
• Heated Bed: Compatible with standard PEI, aluminum plate heated beds, and other metal surface heated beds. Not compatible with magnetic perforated heated beds or non-metal surface heated beds.

Precautions

• For Klipper, you need to download the Klipper firmware and the latest BD-SENSOR-m patch, and then re-flash the mainboard firmware.
• During debugging, keep the emergency stop button within easy reach to avoid scratching the PEI surface.
• Recommended bed scanning speed: 200!
• Z-axis homing speed is not recommended to exceed 5.
