Backup Configuration Method

Important Notes
  • This tutorial is applicable to FLY-Pi, Raspberry Pi, Orange Pi, and other host controllers.
  • If using EMMC, you must be able to enter flashing mode; otherwise, this tutorial is not applicable.
  • This tutorial is based on operations in the Windows system. Do not format unknown disks or perform similar operations!!!

Download Required Software

  • Click the link to download. The webpage will prompt you with the appropriate version for your computer.
  • The software is portable and does not require installation. After downloading, extract and use it directly.
  • DG Disk Tool

Start Backup

Info
  • Do not format!!!
  • If formatted, recovery will be impossible!!!
  • For TF cards, simply connect them directly to the computer.
  • For EMMC, you need to manually enter flashing mode!!!

Connection

  • Connect the system to be backed up to the computer.
  • Open DiskGenius.exe.
  • If everything is normal, the disk you need to back up will be displayed.

Locate

  • Click on the main partition on the left, then click "Browse Files" at the top. The following files will appear below.

  • Find home and double-click to enter.
  • Inside, there is usually only one folder, named after your system user.
  • If there are two or more folders, you need to determine which one contains your system configuration.
  • Double-click to enter the folder.
  • Inside, look for printer_data.

  • The printer_data folder contains your print files, Klipper configuration, Klipper logs, etc. You can export everything directly.

Export Configuration

Important Note

The configuration files for the FAST system are located at /usr/share/printer_data.

  • Right-click on printer_data to see the following prompt.

  • Select the directory where you want to save the files or export them directly.
  • Confirm the export.
    Loading...
  • Open the exported files and locate config. This contains your system configuration.

  • The export configuration is now complete.
  • Please note: Do not arbitrarily upload the moonraker file to other systems, as differences in systems may cause Klipper to fail to connect.
