Connect to Host via SSH

Danger
  • This document is only applicable to FLY host devices. Other devices are for reference only.
  • If you are compiling or flashing firmware, please refer to the network connection tutorial instead of the serial connection tutorial.
  • You can connect to the device via serial port or Wi-Fi.
  • Please prepare MobaXterm_Personal or other SSH terminal tools in advance.
  • Ensure that the SD card or M.2 WE has the corresponding host system flashed.
  • If the host cannot boot normally, please remove drivers, limit switches, fans, and other peripherals!!!
  • Finally, please connect via network to SSH for convenient firmware compilation!!
  • If you need to compile firmware, please refer to the tutorial for connecting to the host via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable.

Power Supply

  • Use a USB Type-C cable to connect the FLY host to your computer.

  • Ensure the USB Type-C cable supports data transfer!

  • After the system boots, an indicator light will flash rapidly!!

  • Flashing indicates the system has started.

Connecting to Host SSH via Serial Port Using Web Page

  • After connecting the host to the computer via USB, click Device Connection below.

  • If normal, USB Serial or other similar devices will be displayed.

  • Select the corresponding device, then click Connect.

  • A prompt will appear upon successful connection.

  • FlyOS-FAST default username is root, default password is mellow.

  • Starting from version V1.3.2, the FAST system uses serial connection with double-click or pressing Enter twice for automatic login.

  • After pressing Enter, the following content will appear:

  • The appearance of the interface below indicates successful login.
  • The FAST system updated the style below after version V1.3.0.
