FLY-LLL Flux Buffer Configuration Tool

Instructions

This tool connects to the FLY-LLL Flux Buffer controller board via the browser's Web Serial API to read device information and modify local device parameters. Serial communication uses 9600 baud.

Please use Chrome or Edge browsers that support Web Serial, and allow the webpage to access the device's serial port.

After connecting, the tool first displays reference default values, then uses info response packets to replace them one by one with the device's currently saved values. If the firmware version is not recognized on the first attempt, the tool automatically resends version, up to 3 times. During connection, the sensor status is read automatically about every 1 second; you can also click "Refresh Now" to read immediately or pause the auto-refresh. The page displays sensor status grouped by motor sensors and buffer sensors.

When not connected, you can click "Flash Firmware" and select a local BIN file. After connecting, if the firmware version is v2.0.0 or higher, "Enter Flash Mode" will appear; the tool will first restart the device into flash mode.

Notes
  • Switching system_mode will save settings and automatically restart the device, causing a temporary serial disconnection. Please wait for the restart to complete before reconnecting.
  • This tool does not provide Klipper host filament change configuration. Please do not add unverified serial configurations directly to the printer configuration file.

Test Description: Sensor and Single-Channel Test

Power Off Operation

Before connecting or disconnecting the controller board's data cable, organizing the wire harness, or checking terminals, completely power off the printer and disconnect the power supply. Do not plug or unplug the wire harness, arrange connector wiring order, or touch terminals while the power is on.

Connect Device

  1. Connect the FLY-LLL Flux Buffer controller board and the computer using a USB Type-C data cable that supports data transfer.
  2. Click Connect device below and select the serial port corresponding to the FLY-LLL Flux Buffer controller board in the browser popup.
  3. After modifying a numerical parameter, press Enter, leave the input field, or click Save Parameters to send; dropdown options are sent immediately. The save button waits for the device to write and then automatically confirms using the info readback. The sending result can be viewed in the serial log.
  4. Wait for the serial log to show the info readback and confirm the page displays the device values, then click Disconnect the device to proceed with a local filament feeding test.

Parameter Description

After connecting, the tool displays the device's saved values first. The "Restore Default Values" in the table below is only for verification; the actual values returned by the device may differ.

Restore Defaults

Restoring default parameters will overwrite the settings currently saved on the device. If the current system mode is not multi, the device will also restart automatically after saving. After performing this action, please re-check the motor direction, filament feed speed, and buffer trigger sequence.
