Firmware Update

Important Notes
  • A memory card is required. Off-brand memory cards may cause the flashing process to fail. It is recommended to use the memory cards suggested below for firmware updates.
  • Prepare a TF card with a capacity not exceeding 32GB. It is recommended that the TF card has a transfer speed of Class 10 or higher. It is advised to use TF cards from brands like SanDisk.

Memory Card Formatting Software:​

  • It is recommended to use the SDFormatter software for formatting. Other formatting software may cause the update to fail.
  • This software can be used on Windows and supports FAT32 formatting.

Update Method​

  • Use the SDFormatter software to format the memory card.
    • After formatting, the memory card will be emptied. Please ensure to back up important data.
  • Copy the downloaded screen firmware file to the root directory of the memory card and rename it to the following name: 
    update.img
  • Insert the memory card into the TF card slot of the screen.

  • After powering off and then back on, the screen will automatically detect the update.img file and begin the update.
  • After the update is complete, the screen will automatically restart.
