Firmware Flashing Instructions

Note

• Flashing the motherboard firmware requires flashing Klipper via Katapult.
• If you are sure that Katapult has already been flashed to the motherboard, skip the final step of flashing the Katapult firmware.
• You can quickly press the reset button twice to check if an LED on the motherboard starts blinking. If it does, it means the motherboard is already in Katapult firmware mode.

How to Determine Which Firmware You Need

• Please note that you only need to flash one of the firmware types.

• You can connect to the host machine using the following methods:
• USB Firmware
  • Advantages: Reliable and stable communication
  • Disadvantages: Multiple USB devices may affect data transmission
• USB Bridge Firmware
  • Advantages: Can connect multiple devices without occupying USB ports
  • Disadvantages: When used with KlipperScreen, it may cause errors such as homing timeout.
