Screen Wiring​

Important Safety Notice
  • When connecting a TFT or HDMI screen using an FPC cable, ensure the device is completely powered off to prevent screen damage.
  • When wiring a TFT screen, carefully confirm the insertion direction of the FPC cable to avoid reverse connection causing device malfunction.

TFT Screen Wiring and Configuration​

  • For resistive touch screens, set the DIP switch to Resi.
  • For capacitive touch screens, set the DIP switch to Cap.

Important Notes​

Configuration Precautions
  • It is recommended to use the mainsail or fluidd web interface for configuration changes.
  • Do not enable webpage translation, as it may prevent the system from starting normally.
  • Do not input Chinese characters or special symbols in configuration files.
  • After modifying a configuration file, a system restart is required for changes to take effect.

Configuration File Modification Methods​

Modifying Configuration File After Flashing​

  • For configuration items that only take effect during the first boot, you must use a professional text editor to open and modify the config.txt file located in the removable disk FlyOS-Conf after flashing is complete.

Online Configuration Modification After System Boot​

  • Ordinary configuration items can be modified on the system's web configuration page and will take effect after a restart.
  1. Access the device's IP address via a browser, e.g., http://192.168.1.2/

  1. Enter the displayed .flyos-config folder and locate the sys-config.conf configuration file.

  1. Edit the sys-config.conf file. This file is a soft link to the config.txt configuration file in the removable disk FlyOS-Conf.

  1. After modifying the configuration items, save the file and restart the system for the changes to take effect.
Configuration Format Explanation
  • The configuration file format must be key=value. Do not change it to key: value or other formats.
  • Do not add spaces before or after the equals sign.

Screen Configuration​

  • Change the value after screen= to fly-tft-v2-r.
  • Change klipper_screen=0 to klipper_screen=1.
  • Below is a reference after modification:
screen=fly-tft-v2-r
  • Also need to modify:
klipper_screen=1
