FLY Upper Computer Usage Instructions

Notes:​

  • Make sure the upper computer is powered off before installing the expansion board.
  • Avoid using the expansion board in humid or dusty environments.
  • When installing the screen, do not plug or unplug while powered on, and pay attention to the screen cable orientation to avoid damage.
  • When installing the fan, pay attention to the fan's current and voltage specifications to avoid damage.
  • The FLY upper computer can only use the middle RS232 interface, the FAN port, and the FPC screen interface!!!
  • Upper computers compatible with G2T for the FLY upper computer are PI V2, C8, PRO X10
  • The Gemini series and PI V1 cannot be used

Using the Onboard RS232 to Connect to Toolboards​

  • After flashing the latest system on the FLY upper computer, access Upper computer IP+:9999

  • The FLY upper computer can only use the middle RS232 interface, the FAN port, and the FPC screen interface!!!

  • In the system settings, find UART1 and save, then restart

Screen Usage Instructions​

  • After flashing the latest system on the FLY upper computer, access Host computer IP+:9999

    • fly-tft-v2-c is the 3.5-inch TFT capacitive screen option

    • fly-tft-v2-r is the 3.5-inch TFT resistive screen option

TFT V2 ribbon cable specifications

When connecting FLY-G2T to FLY-TFT-V2, use FPC 软排线-16P-反向-0.5mm-400mm and confirm the ribbon cable gold finger orientation before locking the connector latch.
