Features
- Replaces Z-axis endstop
- No need to raise the Z-axis during scanning, improving printing speed
- XY movement scanning, enabling dense mesh bed probing
Connection
- Power: 5V
- Firmware: Klipper/Marlin
- Connection: Tool board/Mainboard (BDsensor will use a servo port and an endstop port)
- Build plate: Standard PEI, aluminum plate, and other metal surface beds. Does not support magnetic drilling beds or non-metal surface beds
Precautions
- Klipper requires downloading the latest Klipper firmware along with the BD-SENSOR patch, and the mainboard firmware needs to be re-flashed
- Keep the emergency stop button within easy reach during debugging to avoid scratching the PEI surface
- Recommended scanning speed: 200 mm/s!
- Z-axis homing speed should not exceed 5 mm/s
