OTA System Update Guide
This document provides a detailed introduction to the OTA (Over-The-Air) update feature of the FlyOS-Fast system, helping you upgrade your system safely and conveniently.
Version Support Notes
- V1.3.0 and above: Supports OTA online update function
- V1.3.3 and above: Adds USB drive system update method
Update Method Selection

Network Update Conditions
- Device is connected to the internet
- System version is
V1.3.0or higher
Operation Steps
- Access in your browser:
http://[device IP address]:9998 - The system will automatically check for available updates
- If a new version is available, click the "Update" button to start upgrading
- Wait for the system to automatically download and install the update
💡 Tip: Do not power off or perform printing operations during the update process
Preparation
USB Update Conditions
- System version is
V1.3.3or higher
USB Drive Requirements
- Interface Type: Must use a USB 2.0 flash drive or card reader
- Storage Capacity: At least 8GB of available space
- Compatibility Note: USB 3.0 devices (blue interface) may cause slow upgrades
System Package Download
Please download the corresponding full system upgrade package based on your device model:

Step 1: Prepare Upgrade File
- Go to the system download page to obtain the upgrade package for your device
- Copy the downloaded
.full.fupfile to the root directory of the USB drive
⚠️ File Matching Verification
- Ensure the upgrade package exactly matches your device model
- If the file does not match, the system will not display any prompts after inserting the USB drive
Step 2: Trigger Update
- Insert the prepared USB drive into the device's USB port
- The system will automatically display an update prompt upon detecting the update file
🖥️ Display Prompt Locations:
- Web Management Interface: Mainsail/Fluidd interface
- WiScreen 7-inch Screen: Dedicated serial screen
- KlipperScreen: Update prompt is not displayed; please use the web interface
Step 3: Execute Update
On the interface displaying the update prompt, click the "Start Update" button, and the system will automatically complete the entire upgrade process.
Update Precautions
General Safety Tips
- ✅ Pause all print tasks before updating
- ✅ Ensure stable device power supply to avoid accidental power outages
- ✅ It is recommended to back up important configuration files in advance
Post-Update Operations
- After completing the OTA update, please recompile the Klipper firmware
- It is recommended to restart the device to ensure all services load properly
