OTA System Update Guide
This document details the OTA (Over-The-Air) update feature of the FlyOS-Fast system, helping you upgrade your system safely and conveniently.
Version Support Information
- V1.3.0 and above: Supports OTA online update functionality.
- V1.3.3 and above: Adds USB drive system update method.
Update Method Selection

Network Update Requirements
- The device is connected to the internet.
- The system version is
V1.3.0or higher.
Steps
- Access in a browser:
http://[Device IP Address]:9998 - The system will automatically check for available updates.
- If a new version is available, click the "Update" button to start the upgrade.
- Wait for the system to automatically download and install the update.
💡 Tip: Do not power off the device or perform printing operations during the update process.
Preparation
USB Update Requirements
- The system version is
V1.3.3or higher.
USB Drive Requirements
- Interface Type: Must use a USB 2.0 flash drive or card reader.
- Storage Capacity: At least 8GB of free space.
- Compatibility Note: USB 3.0 devices (blue interface) may cause slow upgrades.
System Package Download
Please download the corresponding full system upgrade package based on your device model:

Step 1: Prepare the Upgrade File
- Go to the system download page to obtain the upgrade package for your device.
- Copy the downloaded
.full.fupfile to the root directory of the USB drive.
⚠️ File Match Verification
- Ensure the upgrade package exactly matches the device model.
- If the file does not match, the system will not show any prompt after inserting the USB drive.
Step 2: Trigger the Update
- Insert the prepared USB drive into the device's USB port.
- After detecting the update file, the system will automatically display an update prompt.
🖥️ Prompt Display Locations:
- Web Management Interface: Mainsail/Fluidd interface.
- WiScreen 7-inch Display: Dedicated serial screen.
- KlipperScreen: Does not show update prompts; please use the web interface.
Step 3: Execute the Update
In the interface where the update prompt appears, click the "Start Update" button. The system will automatically complete the entire upgrade process.
Update Precautions
General Safety Tips
- ✅ Pause all print tasks before updating.
- ✅ Ensure stable power supply to the device to avoid unexpected power loss.
- ✅ It is recommended to back up important configuration files in advance.
Post-Update Actions
- After completing the OTA update, please recompile the Klipper firmware.
- It is recommended to restart the device to ensure all services load correctly.
