System Configuration Modification

Important Tips

Must Read
  • The settings in the part of the configuration file will only take effect after the first system startup following a burn-in.
  • This tutorial provides only modifiable options.
Note
  • Try to use the mainsail or fluidd web pages for configuration modification.
  • Do not open web page translation, as the system may fail to start after saving.
  • Avoid entering Chinese or special characters in the configuration file.
  • After modifying the configuration file, the system needs to be restarted for changes to take effect.
dangerous
  • Do not modify the content below ######### PLEASE DO NOT EDIT THE FOLLOWING ######### in the configuration file.

How to Modify the Configuration File

Modify the Configuration File After Burning

  • The configuration items that are only effective on the first startup must be modified by using a professional text editor to open the configuration file config.txt in the removable disk FlyOS-Conf after burning.

Online Configuration Modification While the System is Running

  • If it is a regular configuration item, modifications made through the system web configuration page will take effect after restarting the system.

    • Open the device IP address in the browser, for example: http://192.168.1.2/
    • For fluidd, uncheck -> and select Hide hidden files and folders as shown in the left figure.
    • For mainsail, check -> and select Show hidden files as shown in the right figure.
    • At this point, you can see the .flyos-config folder. Enter this folder to find the sys-config.conf file.
    • The sys-config.conf file is a soft link to the configuration file config.txt in the removable disk FlyOS-Conf.
    • Open the sys-config.conf file, make the necessary modifications, save and close it.
    • Note: The format of the configuration items in the sys-config.conf file is key=value, do not change it to key: value.
    • After saving the changes, restart the system for them to take effect.
